Alpha II Announces Jon Danielson as CFO and Appoints John King and Julie Klapstein to Board of Directors

Newly appointed CFO and Independent Directors will help guide Alpha II’s next phase of growth and innovation   

TALLAHASSEE, FL – July 30, 2024 – Alpha II, LLC (“Alpha II” or “the Company”), a leading provider of revenue cycle management (“RCM”) technology, today announced the appointment of Jon Danielson as Chief Financial Officer, and the appointment of John King and Julie Klapstein to its Board of Directors as new independent directors, effective immediately.  

CFO APPOINTMENT 
Jon Danielson is an accomplished business leader with significant experience guiding private equity-backed companies through periods of growth and transformation. He has served as Chief Financial Officer at several well-established technology companies, most recently at healthcare IT company Biscom, Inc. During his tenure as CFO, Biscom was acquired by Concord Technologies, a leading provider of secure document exchange and workflow automation solutions. Jon succeeds Ashley Womack, who was appointed Company CEO in May 2024.

BOARD APPOINTMENTS 

John King and Julie Klapstein are industry veterans with proven track records across multiple leading companies in the healthcare and information technology sectors. 

John King has over three decades of experience in the healthcare space. Currently he serves as an Operating Partner at NexPhase Capital, a mid-market private equity firm focused on growth-oriented companies. In this role, he partners with management teams across NexPhase Capital’s software and healthcare portfolio to drive value creation and operational growth. Previously, John was the CEO of OmniSYS, a leading provider of medical billing, pharmacy workflow solutions, and patient engagement software. Before that, he served as the President of Standard Register Healthcare and held senior executive roles at McKesson and MedAssets. John previously served on the Board of Directors of Azalea Health, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Meduit and Metz Culinary Management. 

Julie Klapstein has over 35 years of experience in the healthcare sector and previously served on the boards of Oak Street Health and NextGen. Julie is founding CEO of Availity, an industry leader in optimizing the automated delivery of critical business and clinical information among healthcare stakeholders. During her decade-long tenure, Availity experienced rapid growth, expanding to provide a full claims clearinghouse and revenue cycle solution that served more than 16,000 provider offices and nearly every payor in the country. Prior to Availity, Julie was the CEO of Phycom, Inc. and held leadership roles at Revecore, Sunquest Information Systems, and GTE Health Systems. She serves on the Board of Directors of Amedisys and MultiPlan and is a Partner Advisor to a16z (Andreessen Horowitz).
