How do you feel about the RCxRules company and team?
The fact that we were one of the first customers to use RCxRules has allowed us the opportunity to work with all facets of the company: development, support, sales and upper management. The common theme in working with all of these teams is their desire to make the product the best it can be for us. Whether that is daily support, assisting with new ways to use existing features, or discussing future functionality to stay current with the ever changing healthcare environment, they continue to ask, listen and implement ideas which we deem necessary for the product. The daily support we receive from RCxRules is the most attentive from any vendor we deal with.
Has RCxRules' automation capabilities affected your revenue cycle staffing requirements? If so, how?
The automation has absolutely affected our staffing in a positive way. Prior to RCxRules we had to maintain documents per client that were often messy, hard to understand if you didn’t deal with the client on a daily basis, and simply hard to maintain day to day, week to week or month to month. In order for us to be as successful as we were during those times, we had to employ many medical billers at a high pay rate. The introduction of RCxRules allowed us to move these client specific documents into rules, one time, and make them applicable to many clients without the knowledge of a medical biller. The messaging within the system allows a non-biller to work the tasks to completion, so these non-billers can be just as effective without the higher employee cost. Addtionally, the automation has allowed us to ramp up much quicker for new clients and deal more effectively with employee turnover/knowledge loss.
Is there anything else you would tell a prospective customer of RCxRules?
I believe RCX Rules is the only product on the market that allows the flexibility to write rules against anything a claim would consist of to make sure it is submitted clean the first time. I also don’t seen any limitations on how RCxRules can consume charge/demo data which makes it ideal in almost any situation regarding EMRs and Billing Software.
